Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge is looking for a Prep Cook for our beautiful Cascades Restaurant.

Essential Duties:

Reports to work on time and in uniform for each scheduled shift. Presents a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times.

Eliminates safety hazards and reports all injuries and accidents to the Supervisor or Manager immediately.

Attends all department and Lodge meetings as scheduled.

Ensures opening work is completed prior to meal periods and closing work prior to leaving.

Reviews Production sheets, Banquet Event Orders, and Par sheets in order to prepare for the days events.

Ensures all foods prepared are of the highest quality and appearance in accordance with approved recipes.

Prepares food for buffets, banquets and ala carte.

Controls food waste and loss; properly records any waste on Kitchen Waste Sheets.

Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all work surfaces, coolers, floors and equipment in work area.

Properly rotates, labels, and dates all food use and/or storage.

Orders food from Storage for station production utilizing Storeroom Requisitions.

Participates in Daily Taste Panels, Pre-Shift Meetings and periodic training.

Maintains a positive attitude towards the Lodge and the job being performed.
