Server (Full-time) - Smith Creek Tavern

**Job Summary:**
Under the direct supervision of the Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager/Asst. Manager, the Seasonal Food & Beverage Server greets and serves guests following F&B standards of quality, presentation, and sanitation in a courteous and professional manner.

**Qualifications:**
Successful performance in this role requires the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The qualifications below reflect the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed. Must have food handler's certification and TIPS certification or obtain within 15 days of hire.

**Responsibilities:**
- Check assigned stations before opening for cleanliness and proper set-up.
- Perform opening and closing side-work per schedule.
- Stay updated on daily specials, menu items, and 86’d items.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Operate point of sale (POS) equipment efficiently.
- Understand beverage, liquor, and wine menus and provide proper service.
- Adhere to accounting procedures during transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in designated areas.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bartender to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Follow proper table service standards like bussing, resetting tables, and refilling water glasses.
