Guest Services Agent

Guest Services Agent – Part Time Lake Blackshear Resort / Georgia Veterans State Park

Georgia Veterans State Park / Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary Part Time Guest Services Agent. Our campus is comprised of 1,308 acres of pine and hardwoods located on a beautiful 8,800-acre cypress lakefront - Lake Blackshear. Lake Blackshear Resort has 10 lake cabins, a full-service fine dining restaurant and bar, catering, seasonal food and entertainment lakeside, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with boat rental, and 18 hole-golf course. In addition, we offer 82 camp sites (of which many are water front), a pioneer camp area, 3 community shelters and 4 open air picnic pavilions, swimming beach, 3D archery course and a military museum and static military displays of planes, cannons and tanks.

We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.

HOURS/SHIFTS: Open availability required including weekends and holidays.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: At least one year of guest services experience, within a hotel/resort is preferred. Other positions involving high levels of Customer Service are also preferred.

DUTIES: Our ultimate responsibility is to provide guest with passionate hospitality. We take care of our guest! The guest experience often begins and ends with the guest interaction at our Front Desk. Guest interaction includes:

· Greeting guests upon arrival, perform registration process and provide guest with information they need to enjoy their stay.

· Responding to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints to ensure guest expectations are met.

· Answering phones and entering reservations.

· Processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, debit, and credit cards.

· Processing check-outs including resolving any late or disputed charges.

· Coordinates with other departments, including Housekeeping and Maintenance, to ensure cabins are ready for arrivals.

· Communicate parking and other procedures to guests and visitors.

· Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.

· Additional duties as assigned including following established SOPs.
